Cave Story 3D Announced For Nintendo 3DS

NIS America have announced Cave Story 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, marking the company's first 3D release. It's being developed by Nicalis and you can expect Quote and his friends to return in this 3D platformer inspired by the original classic Cave Story.

"I feel great possibilities working with Nicalis. They’re both skilled and dedicated with making no compromises. I think fans of the original Cave Story will be pleased with this latest incarnation." said NIS America Producer Jack Niida.

”Also through this partnership, we would like to bring new life to the legendary game and make it accessible to a new range of audiences.”

Cave Story 3D is set for release this Summer on the Nintendo 3DS.
