Hey guys!!

Thought i might start of a few topics in this section seeing its the classic games section....hint hint

well the title really says it all, what are the games that you would play over and over again and never get sick of.

For me, it would have to be the original mega man series by FAR, Ocarina Of Time (i cant remember how many times i have finished that game....seriously its addictive) and probably the mario kart series (just trying to find all the short cuts every time trying to cut your lap times.....hahaha i have played those games tooo much)

thanks for ur time

I feel like a right %$@£ because I have "never" played a megaman game... I've seen the TV show, but never played the games Sad

However, out of classic gaming (how old until it hit's classic?) the ones that I still play to this day are
1) Super Mario World on the SNES
2) Sonic & Tails on the Sega Master system
3) Super Mario Kart SNES
4) Final Fantasy 1-6 (PS)

And it is not because of all the extra modes of play, or multiplayer as current games are going to gain replay value.. it's just fun gameplay and great stories Big Grin

Top replayable games? hmmmm
I don't play many classic games nowadays because i'm one of THOSE people who need every new release on day one however there are a few that pick up now and again.

1. Sonic 1, Sonic 2 - i'll put them together since they are pretty much the same, great games too. Smile
2. Tetris - Who hasn't played Tetris in some new form or revised version?
3. Saturn Bomberman - It's not exactly 'retro' but definetly the best Bomberman out there.
4. Death Tank - Whether this is classic is debatable but this game was awesome til updates ruined the new version on 360 Arcade.
5. Mario - I think it's fair to say that as the 'New Super Mario Bros Wii' game is so close to the platform days of old i would group it into this thread. I mean it's classic Mario!!!!

Broken Sword: The Shadow Of The Templars (the original version without the crappy hint system, although I'd love to see the new puzzles). Sorry guys, I just adore this game into the ground. I play it almost every year at least once. Have stream-lined my speed run quite dramatically!

Aside from that, anything fairly casual is really replayable. SMB3 is another good one.

My brother and i played pokemon silver till something strange happened to it. When ever i played it the clock would never move so it was night or day through the whole game. You can never get bored of a pokemon game.

Ahh I feel so old I didn't even consider Pokémon as a retro/classic game compared to the great 8-bit's that I enjoyed as a wee lad lol

haha omen they are classics in their own right...but because of graphical instances, but they played a big role when we were growing up
