When playing games what character annoyed you the most? Did you head in? Even spoiled the game for you?

Starting with my most recent;

Vanille (FFXIII) : Ok maybe its unfair for me to pick on Vanille as I do pretty much hate ALL the characters in FFXIII they all so flawed and uninteresting, and thier dialogue together is just so well "acted" just just feel natura, but her, HER! Stupid accent, stupid hair, stupid whiny noises she makes, the things she says, I just wish the girl would kill her off, I was wishing so much Sasz would shoot her dead! But no....

Raiden (MGS:SoL) : I mean, who the hell is he!? We started off playing snake, who everybodies loves and wants to play for more than a hour! You cant put a gamer back on his favourite rollercoaster ride, but with better graphics and gameplay (more bullshit yes,still) riding at the front, only to hear the brakes go on and you get put in the middle seat, where your still got the great ride, but from a seat you just HATE! He was so annoying, such a girl, and you saw snake throughout the game and you wanted to play him! So annoying...

Sephiroth (FFVII) : Ok hold on a moment and calm down! FFVII was the first "mature" ish RPG i played at 12 when it first came out, I never got so deep into a game, cared so much for the characters. At 12 and a gamer, the games, like the movies were still quite fairy tale in the respect there was always a good ending, no one ever died, no one really important anyway, and NEVER a playable character. And after spending hours with Aeris/Aerith, saving her from the Turks, escaping with her from Midgar and the gang, the love triangle that insued with Cloud and Tifa, only for Sephiroth to come along and stick a Sword through her! No one saw it coming, and suddenly my gaming nativity shattered by his Sephiroths hangs, for the first time in gaming he a REAL monster, someone who kills your friends, and for that I hated him and wanted my revenge so bad, obviously love him now! But at the time, HATE!

Crash Bandicoot. Sorry but I hate the hell out of that orange whatever-it-is. His games were lame, and it was always so hard to jump over stuff when I was...however old I was when it came out. Plus his games were never as cool as Gex's.

Awwwww....I quite liked the XIII cast. And Vanille one of my favourites ^^

Anyways, for me the number one most hated video game character in any game is.....Sarah - Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Closely followed by: Lymle - Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Then I think probably Peppita - Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Call me Captain Suspicious, but if I didn't know better I'd say a pattern was emerging...

I really loved all the characters in FF XIII, so I have no problem there. And like Fox said, Vanille is also one of my favorites.

Okay! The most hated game character for me would have to be Kratos, Bayonetta, or Don Corneo from FF VII (even though he's a minor character XD).

Dog from DuckHunt.

Not only is he a poorly draw puppy.. but he LAUGHS at you when you fail. That's soooo rude :-( Sometimes I'd let him have a piece of my mind.. yes, even though he's made up/pixels.

You know what made that even worse. Often the light gun wouldn't respond that well over time and he would start laughing even though you are 100% certain you shot the ducks.......*RAGE*

This is stupid, but the old guys you have to find in Megaman Starforce Leo-I didn't believe in using cheats or walkthroughs back then and it took me around 6 hours to find one stupid person. I think those six hours were spread into a time line of about 14 months.

Hope from FF XIII. It's the way he breathes... It just doesn't stop.

Rico from Just Cause 2... ahh the voice acting was just terrible in that game. I enjoyed the giant open world, but the characters were some of the worst in gaming history IMO.

Vaan from FF XII.. again, just shoot that (wo)man. Terrible game with an even worse lead character.
