At the start of December we advertised that we were looking for new people to join the Moderating team here at Gaming Union. I'm pleased to say that we got a really great array of people sending in application PMs; so much so that our job of choosing who was right for the job was so much more difficult!

After much deliberation, and putting the applicants through a vigorous shake down, we managed to narrow it down and have finally chosen three stunning specimens of Moderator goodness! I think you'll agree that the three people that have been picked have already shown themselves to be valuable members of the community through their contributions. So can everybody please join together and share congratulations for the following trio on their promotion to Moderator!

These new guys will be supporting our current Super Moderators in key areas of the forums, while Beyhan & Sam (formerly gilburtgtr) will continue to provide the overall and special care which you are accustomed to. Over the coming weeks, you'll also see the whole moderating team not only help to keep the GU streets clean, but also work together to help making the forums a more lively place to be, with myself as Community Manager overseeing the funhouse! We trust that you, the community, will also be along for the ride on that!

To those that applied and didn't make it: We had a lot of tough choices to make here, and unfortunately we couldn't accommodate everyone on the staff team. Apologies to you, however there will be upcoming opportunities in the New Year to contribute to Gaming Union in a more official way than just posting on the forums, so keep an eye out for that. If you would like feedback on your application, then do not hesitate to contact me via PM.
